Key Rules

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:

B. Territories:  This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”): 

• The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• Canada (excluding Quebec).
• The United Kingdom (excluding the British Overseas Territories).
• Germany, France (excluding Overseas France), Sweden, Austria, Spain, and Norway.
• Australia.

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 18 years of age or older, and who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between September 7, 2021 at 10:00am Pacific Time and September 14, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pacific Time (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations:  In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period: 

• Design a unique and original patch to be sewed onto a jacket (the “Design”).
• Log in to your personal Instagram account (if necessary, first create an Instagram account for free at Instagram.com).
• Ensure that your Instagram account is public so we can view your entry.
• Follow the official Square Enix Life is Strange Instagram account at @lifeisstrangegame (“Sponsor’s Instagram Account”) from your Instagram account and continue following this account until Sponsor announces a winner.
• Post your Design on your Instagram account (the “Entry Post”).
• In addition to the Design, your Entry Post must include the following: (i) a caption that describes the inspiration and story behind your design and (ii) the following hashtags: #ShowYourTrueColors and #Contest.

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select four (4) winners from among all entries using the  following methodology:

Sponsor will select one (1) grand-prize winner and three (3) runner-up prize winners based on the creativity of the Design and how well the Design supports, communicates, and reflects the story behind it.

G. Prize(s): One (1) grand-prize winner shall receive each of the following prize(s): 

• One (1) gift voucher for the Square Enix European or North American online store in one of the following currencies/amounts (at the winner’s discretion): £100.00 GBP, $138.00 USD, €117.00 EUR, or $188.00 AUD
• One (1) mxmtoon signature concert ukulele (approximate retail value of $99.99 USD/€85 EUR)
• One (1) copy of the Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition for one of the following platforms (at winner’s discretion): PC Steam, Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox Series S|X, Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 5, or Google Stadia (approximate retail value of $79.99 USD/€79.99 EUR)
• One (1) a custom-painted Nacon Rig 500 Pro HC (approximate retail value of $69.99USD/€59.00 EUR)
• Sponsor will create a physical patch based on the grand-prize winner’s Design and stitch that patch onto a unique jacket. Note: winner will not actually receive the jacket and Sponsor may modify the Design at Sponsor’s sole discretion. (Approximate retail value of $0.00 USD/€0.00 EUR.)

Three (3) runner-up prize winners shall each receive each of the following prize(s):

• One (1) digital copy of the Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition for one of the following platforms (at winner’s discretion): PC Steam, Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox Series S|X, Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 5, Google Stadia (approximate retail value of $79.99 USD/€79.99 EUR)

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winners by or about October 7, 2021 via direct message on social media.

I. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix Limited.

J. Other Details:  Please do not enter or participate in the Promotion if it may be unsafe for you to do so for any reason.  The winning Design and entry, and the identity of the winners, may be publicly displayed on the @lifeisstrangegame and @mxmtoon accounts, and other platforms and media. The grand-prize winner may be required to sign additional documents to authorize Sponsor to create and print a physical version of the winning Design.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.
