Life is Strange 2 on Nintendo Switch is a faithful, Switch-optimized port of the original Don’t Nod game, originally released episodically in 2018-2019. It includes the full content of all five Episodes.

It also includes all the licensed music, including the score from Jonathan Morali, composer of the original Life is Strange soundtrack, and songs from Phoenix, The Streets, Bloc Party, First Aid Kit, and more.

When does the game release?

The game will release on February 2, 2023, at 4pm GMT / 5pm CET / 11am EST / 8am PST, and 2am AEST February 3, 2023.

Is this a remaster?

No, Life is Strange 2 on Nintendo Switch is a faithful, Switch-optimized port of the original Don’t Nod game. No content from the original five Episodes has been added or removed.

Who developed the Nintendo Switch version?

This Nintendo Switch port was developed by Dragon’s Lake Entertainment (https://dragonslake.com/), who were also responsible for the Life is Strange: True Colors port.

Don’t Nod are the developers of the original game.

What languages does the game support?

The game’s audio soundtrack is in English, with subtitle and user interface support in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin America Spanish, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.

What is the pre-order bonus, and when does it expire?

The pre-order bonus is additional cosmetic DLC, and is available with any purchase in the pre-order period, or in the first month of release, up to March 2, 2023.

The pre-order bonus consists of a set of cosmetic patches and items you can use to customize Sean’s backpack in-game. Some of these items are franchise-themed, such as the 3D Hawt Dawg Man keychain, and some of them are themed around Arcadia Bay, from the original Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm.

These bonuses do not have an effect on gameplay, but can be used to further personalize your experience as you play.

The bonuses can be accessed in-game from the start of the second chapter in Episode 1.

The bonus DLC will also be available for separate purchase after launch, priced at $1.99.

Will Life is Strange 2 be available in a physical box for Nintendo Switch?

Life is Strange 2 for Nintendo Switch is a digital-only release.

Does the port include the Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit demo?

 We were unfortunately unable to include The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit Demo as a part of the Life is Strange 2 Nintendo Switch package.
